About Us
Animals in Our Care
Current residents include: goats, alpacas, pigs, sheep, cows, chickens, turkeys, parrots, along with all our domestic pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea-pigs and hamsters and anything you can name!!!!!
Our History
Charlie's Old Codgers Animal Foundation was started in memory of Charlie (one of my own cats); who passed away in June 2011 at the age of 29 years and 9 months.
From small beginnings, we have grown into a much loved home environment with a multitude of different animals living happily together. This home is always permanent - although some of the animals are only with us until they can be re-united with their owners (as in the cases of the Armed Forces Personnel)
Our Mission
Simply put; this Non Profit Charity is dedicated to caring for animals when their owners no longer can. Usually this is due to the owners moving into care homes or hospices and being unable to take their much loved pets with them.
We also take in pets of veterans and serving personnel who, due to injury, require care for their animals until they are able to return home.
No one is turned away. We welcome every shape and size, young and old, healthy and those, perhaps not so healthy, who require extra care.
